"Superposition" is Daphne's landmark piece. Created over the span of 6 months, this piece captures the florals from Daphne's elopement ceremony on the cliffs of Maui in February 2025.
The original painting has been documented by renowned photographer Julia Featheringill and is now available for sale as giclee prints. Giclees are of museum quality and considered the next best thing to original art.
These will be limited edition with only 60 printed in the 18x24 size. On warm white cold press paper, this print appears like an original piece of work on textured, watercolor-like paper. Each will be numbered (i.e. 5/60) and hand-signed by Daphne. You can select the print as is, or framed. The framed option is a gold bamboo frame with acrylic "glass" - please note, this is not real glass but is recognized as glass to the naked eye. It will be installed with wire on the back and comes with hanging hardware, so all you need to install is a hammer. If you'd rather go the custom framing route, you can purchase the print as is. Unframed prints will be shipped flat with cardboard backing in a plastic sleeve. All print orders will come with their own numbered and hand-signed certificates of authenticity.
A giclée (pronounced "zhee-clay") print is a high-quality, fine art inkjet print made with archival, pigment-based inks and materials, known for exceptional color accuracy, detail, and longevity (often over 100 years). The term comes from the French word for "to spray," describing how the printer sprays microscopic ink droplets, resulting in gallery-quality reproductions of original artwork or photographs.
