Commissions

Ideas

Do you want custom art made but you're not sure what? Here are some of my favorite subjects to paint:

  • Wedding Bouquet - a great way to capture the gorgeous florals at your or a loved one's wedding 

  • Botanical themed - I love painting flowers!

  • Food, Fruits, Vegetable Still Life

  • The only thing I do not paint are pets and people. Open to animals (not including dogs and cats)

  • Want to give a commission as a gift, but not sure what the recipient would want? Reach out to me to purchase a gift card for a specific commission size.

Scope

Commissions are not just limited to a single piece of original art! I have scanning, printing, and graphic design capabilities in my studio, which means I can also reproduce commissioned pieces into prints, greeting cards and more. For example, you commission that painting your favorite hiking trail in Maine, but you'd also like prints made to distribute to family and friends who also love the trail. Or, you want the piece printed onto greeting cards that you can send out around the holidays. I'm open to any and all ideas, so feel free to include this in your message. 

Copyright

As the artist, I retain copyright for everything I create, including custom work. This means, in no way, shape or form, can the client reproduce or sell copies of, or otherwise profit from, my work. I also retain full rights to the images, which means I can reuse or repurpose the original concepts in my shop, i.e. sell prints of a commissioned piece.
